EATapaS in Munich

We gave the restaurant a chance twice, but unfortunately the restaurant is not recommended. After the second order the food came after 100 minutes instead of the advertised 45 minutes (distance to us by car is 5 minutes) and half of the order was also missing, we will not order anything here. Unfortunately, even after two phone calls, we did not receive the missing dishes as promised. The food itself is unfortunately only average, fortunately Munich has more to offer.

Incredibly good tapas, great quality even delivered at home. A forgotten dish was delivered before we even noticed it and the chef contacted us personally - this is how service orientation works. Absolutely to be recommended!

Good food, fair price

Super delicious food that came quickly. But the music was quite loud, so everyone spoke louder and it got restless. Tables were quite close together, otherwise Corona measures were well implemented.

A bit loud in the restaurant, but unfortunately that's the acoustics, so we almost had to yell at each other. Otherwise the restaurant is very comfortably furnished. The food was delicious, although the Crema Catalana is not really the original. The food in the photo, on the other hand, was very tasty. Unfortunately I missed them patadas bravas, I more or less put them together myself.

A nice little eatery, the staff are not unfriendly but not overly friendly either, the food was okay but it doesn't really knock you off your feet, not bad for a snack.

Wine selection is small, but you can find very good wines among the cheap bottles. But you can't get any wine recommendations. Dishes are small and $$$, but that's just tapas ...

Hip tapas restaurant on the Schwanthalerhöhe. Delicious dishes, fair prices and extremely friendly service. Young audience. Keep it up!

Very dissatisfied ... Unfortunately no real Spanish tapas, small portions and big prices: (e.g .: 8 dates 5.50 € ... Calamares (really small portion) 6.90 € ... That is expensive even in Munich.

It‘s a great bar, perfect for a Friday evening. The portions are small but the food is good. Unfortunately, the vegan options are painfully limited and the prices are quite steep. So personally, I would only go back for drinks. However, if you are big on non-veg food, cheese, etc. your experience would be very different..

Have been to EATapas several times and have been back for a long time. Unfortunately it tasted disappointing. For Spanish food little seasoned, I found burgers and schnitzel as tapas unsuitable. The waitress was bored and wordlessly gave us the menu. Unfortunately not what it used to be!

I went home very disappointed yesterday after eating tapas. The portions were manageable, the dishes were quick to prepare (pimientos were still half raw, chorizio just warmed up in one piece, "tapas of the day" was a tiny piece of melon with a piece of feta) and the food lacked a love of Spanish cuisine. As an excuse we were told that we should come back next week, so the real chef would work again ... The nice service, who tried very hard to offer us a nice evening, was positive!

We recently went to EATapaS with friends. I already knew EATapaS and was very enthusiastic about the food again! Super tasty tapas. Nice selection. Not too much and not too little. There is something for everybody. Whether meat, fish or vegetarian. The ladies in the service were also very friendly. Unfortunately, there is a star deduction for the volume in the restaurant itself. After it started to drizzle, we went inside on our own. Because the restaurant consists mainly of wood, stone, ... and has hardly any "material" elements that could "swallow" the noise, it was very loud. Especially since most of the other guests sat on the terrace and the restaurant wasn't half full. Unfortunately, I noticed this on my first visit two years ago.

Very delicious food :) The price was absolutely okay, friendly service. What is true is that when the store is full the waiting times increase a bit, but in my opinion never excessive. thank you

Had dinner here for two tonight. After 5 minutes the waitress brought us 3 laminated A4 pages to the table without comment, which represented the menu and wine list. We sat inside first. It was extremely noisy here, so we moved outside. Food took a long time to come. Ordered 5 tapas. These came after about 45 minutes. The service consists of students so something has been forgotten. All in all, unfortunately, nothing special.

Nice tapas bar. Rather unusual on the corner. It was very well attended so make a reservation. In terms of price, really okay for Munich! One point deduction because of the somewhat annoying and loud techno music. You could bring in a little more flair here. Still gladly again!

The tapas are very tasty. But the restaurant is way too loud. Deaf after 1.5 hours. Bass-heavy music in the background and people start blaring so that you can still understand each other. All red wines tried only very "mediocre". The service, on the other hand, was very nice and courteous. It's really a shame this disillusionment ...

Very good cuisine, I can only recommend making a reservation, some people already know the good food;) In any case, you should try the mini burger and otherwise you can follow the recommendations of the waitress with a clear conscience, everything has always tasted very good to me. We usually like the atmosphere and the food. Not cheap, but quantity and quality okay. Unfortunately, the boss takes the corona rules zero seriously and serves without a mask, the waitresses do it this way, this way. Today there were also dirty cards. Too bad.

Very friendly waiter. Nice food. Perhaps a tad expensive. But also a big playgarden nearby for the kids to play while waiting for the food. A very relaxing atmosphere and neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I've heard so many positive reviews about this place, so I've decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it never came to trying out the Cousine, as the staff was exceptionally rude. After some struggle to find a waitress to be seated, me and my companion were given a seat outside on the terrace right in the middle of a loud and smoking group of people. I've asked the waitress to please find us a table on the side (there were about 10 free tables around), but she rudely refused, saying that these table are all reserved. All suggestions to find an alternative solution such as placing a table a bit aside were denied as well. As a reaction to me complaining, that I would not be able to enjoy the lunch in the smoke cloud, the waitress just raised her shoulders briefly and silently went away. I can't explain how angry that made me. I've never seen such rudeness in any other Munich restaurant. Exceptionally bad??

Nice tapas and cocktails

Crowded and cosy, this is a lively place with good food and nice people.

Food was great, prices are fair and the staff service was on point.

The food was delicious but when we were there, we had to wait an hour before we could even order something to eat. The waitresses were stressed because it was really full and also messed up some orders. Maybe go there when there aren't too many people in. The price for the sometimes really small amount of food in a bowl is also a bit high.

It has nothing to do with Spanish taste. Overcrowded, extremely loud and nothing else.

This place is great to go to with friends, the atmosphere is super layed back and cool. The food is very nice and since it's only small dishes you can order a variety of things. The food is also always fresh.

Good ambience and the service. Food were tasty but expected for many tapas options which wasn't. Overall good experience.

The best tapas in München!!! Absolutely a gastronomical travel to sunny Spain. ☺️

Tried to get in at around 11:30 pm and had to leave....open till 01:00 am.

Quality was far from what is expected for the price. If you are used to good tapas, that's not the place to go. Also service was very poor, it took them forever to ask us for the food, even though the place was not full... We had to call them because we were tired of waiting. Afterwards, we wanted to order more, but again the same problem, so we went home hungry.

Very authentic Spanish restaurant , worth a visit wenn your in Madrid ?

Service was kind of ok. If you’re looking for a near authentic tapas experience look elsewhere, food quality was just average. Considering the above it’s also quite pricey.

Spanish tapas in the Westend area. Enjoy their terrace during summer nights with some small dishes and a glass of wine.

Actually 3.5. Service was good. Value for money is good. The food was good too but for spanish food, too spicy. So, everything tastes good but neutral good but not "wowwww".

Food was nice, though overpriced. Service was terrible, they were more than lost with the bill, order, delivery. Everything was late, we had to ask to even make the order.

I liked it. The service was very friendly and quick and the food and atmosphere were good. I would recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

The service can be a little slow at times but the food is worth the wait.

Nice food, cozy place. Be aware that, as expected, tapas are small portions.

This review is in regards to the service only because we didn’t stay long enough to try the food. Pretty disappointed because I was very excited to try this restaurant with my husband. We did not have a reservation and you could tell the host was not pleased with that. This just happened- it is a Friday night and it was relatively busy. She did seat us at an open table with 3 place settings and it was very helpful that she could speak English since we cannot speak German (which I’m assuming is another reason we were treated so poorly). That’s fine except she never came back again. We waited for over 10 minutes and were completely ignored. She even sat down at a table with her friends and was on her phone. The server also ignored us- but she was pretty busy. I finally got the attention of the host to ask for a menu... maybe they just forgot about us? She told me to “chill. Chill. It’s good.” No it wasn’t good. It felt extremely rude so we left at that point which I’m pretty sure was their goal and they succeeded. Pretty unfortunate the service was so terrible because a lot of the reviews about the food were so positive! I guess we will never know. Last night in Munich and it sadly ruined it. I’ll go ahead and assume the issue was that we are tourists and didn’t have a reservation so instead of just turning us away or asking us to sit at the bar they decided to pretend we didn’t exist. Message received loud and clear.

Average food and extremely loud venue. No decorations on the walls in a huge square room makes for very bad acoustics. Not a great value for the money.

Staff is excellent. Food it very good and prices are OK for Munich. Just a bit too dark for my taste
